Synopsis

The Galician filmmaker has become one of the most fascinating and polarizing figures in contemporary cinema. In a world accustomed to consuming culture without really digesting it, his fourth film, ‘Sirāt’—which won an award at Cannes and earned two Oscar nominations and 11 Goya nominations—and his discourse on art and spirituality are surprising and even countercultural.
